Poll: What do You Think about the Euro 2012 Camaro's Redesigned LED Taillights?

Other differences include the diffuser-mounted reflectors at the back; the noticeably larger mirrors that look like someone pasted Dumbo's ears on the Camaro's doors (apparently, so you can detect those miniature ForTwos creeping up on you on the highway) and the more modern fonts on the instrument panel gauges that are placed outwards.
Take your time to compare the pictures of the Euro and North American Camaros and tell us what you think in the comments below.

GM Talks About and Shows Running Footage of the New 2014 Cadillac CTS

type='html'>

This week's 2013 New York Auto Show turned out to be a big event for General Motors as it has no less than five world premieres, the most important of which are the new generation of the Cadillac CTS and the revamped 2014 Chevrolet Camaro.
With the CTS series being for Cadillac what the 3-Series is for BMW, it's no wonder that GM paid so much attention to the new model that has been designed from the ground up to look at the German competition (think BMW 5-Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class) straight in the eyes.
The first impressions are positive, be that in terms of design - sans the flavorless rear end that looks like it was cobbled up at the last minute and lacks the character of the front, or the technical specifications and the welcome addition of two modern turbocharged powerplants, a 272hp 2.0-liter inline-four, and a 420hp 3.6-liter V6, plus the fact that it's bigger but lighter (by up to 200lbs or 90kg) than its predecessor.
In the HD videos that follow below the break, you can watch GM's people talk about the CTS as well as to see the car on the road.

What Do You Think About This German Cop?

People tend to generalize about the police andevaluate everyone practicing this profession based on personal experiences (more often than not, the bad ones) and on the actions of some individuals. If a police officer did the same for a specific group of people, it would no doubt be seen as "profiling"…But like anything else, not all police officers are the same, even though, for obvious reasons, the bad apples are the ones that usually make the headlines.
Well, here's one officer who we think deserves a thumbs up. If you're wondering why, just scroll down and watch the short video, and then tell us what you think in the comments section.

Consumer Reports Not Really Thrilled About New Mitsubishi Outlander

type='html'>
|

The Mitsubishi Outlander has never been the kind of car one buys because of burning desire, but it was always competent and one of the better vehicles to drive in its class. Now, the all-new model, which is radically different from its predecessor, takes center stage, as Mitsubishi tries to keep itself relevant in the current context of the automotive industry, both in the US and the rest of the world.
The new 2014 Outlander needs to be very good, but if we are to listen to Consumer Reports (CR), which recently took it for a drive, things aren't looking up.
Right off the bat, the car is criticized for its "melted" styling, which CR says nowhere near as sharp-looking as the car it replaces, and even that wasn't a particularly eye-catching piece of automotive art, either. The bad points continue with the ride quality, high levels of road noise and a driving experience which is inferior, according to the reviewer, to that of the previous generation model.
It does, of course, have some redeeming features, like the fact that it gets third-row seating as standard on all models, as well as an optional V6 engine (only the Jeep Cherokee offers it in the class), and a much improved interior quality than before, with more intuitive and modern controls. The new model is also around 200 pounds lighter than before, so this should translate into marginally better fuel efficiency and performance numbers, especially for the 224 hp V6.
